Update on free commissions - New perspective

I already told some of you guys, I'm sick at the moment. I got a cold after I got caught in the rain last weekend when attending a convention, and since then, I really lost my strength and I've not been in the mood to draw anything digitally.

BUT I've been doodling on pieces of paper, and I realised two things, it seems I really like to draw (I can't stop sneezing but I keep drawing), and I've been neglecting traditional drawing for too long.

So now that I'm surrounded by tissues and practising my traditional drawing again, I thought of a new perspective for all the free commissions I had to put on hold because of this cold. I'm going to do the first draft traditionally (paper and pencil) and then paint them digitally. AND because I don't want any of you to wait centuries for your turn, I'm going to do it on batches, this is, I'll do all the sketches for all 8 pictures, then all lines, then all colors, and then the final paintings. This way it'll be easier for me, and all of you will be seeing results.

When my health improves, I'll be posting single WIP images on my Instagram / Twitter / Facebook / Tumblr, and when a batch is ready (i.e. all 8 pictures have their first sketch), I'll post all of them on a journal entry here.

Results of giveaway for a free commissionThis is the result of a giveaway for a free commission I did some days ago. I said I'll choose the one that appeals to me the most, between the first 10 comments, but the truth is I find almost impossible to choose only one. This is totally my fault, and if I do this kind of thing again in the future, I'll probably give numbers to all the participants, and generate a random number to choose the winner.
But again, this first time, my big mouth got me into this, and since I can't really choose only one, I'll try to do ALL of them.
Some will be just the headshot (start of shoulders), and some will be a bit more, but never below elbows. I'm not sure which order I'll follow, I'll let inspiration lead the way.
